SVT Urban Mobility Digitalization through Eco PIS Displays

SVT, public transportation company in Vicenza, embarked on a comprehensive project of digitalization, and expressed the need for improving usability in order to encourage citizens to choose the sustainable and convenient means of transportation provided by the public service. To achieve this important goal, a clear and reliable digital signage was the key to start a new and improved relationship with people, based on efficiency and user-friendliness.
We deployed a total of 300 devices, integrating different technologies based on specific context needs. Monochromatic displays equipped with E Ink technology that feature ultra-low energy consumption to maximize energy efficiency, LED Walls and LCD 46” MIDAS. LED solutions in particular are based on a modular technology that makes them extremely flexible in shape and size. Thanks to this feature, we were able to offer customized displays with a 2800×1920 mm dimension.
The outdoor LED monitor eTELA offers the experience of a printed text or color photograph thanks to a new display technology, with easy readability in full sunlight, low power consumption and reliability in all weather conditions.
eTELA devices benefit from a real time geolocation system and from up-to-date information, crucial features for displaying prices and offers on outdoor digital menu boards.
