The Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens chose us to supply the displays for their innovative project Information Multimodale Généralisée dans les Espaces – IMAGE. The project brought upon us many new demanding tasks to face, like the operating conditions of the displays, that varied remarkably between the indoor and the outdoor places. While the temperature indoors is controlled, outside it ranges broadly from near-freezing temperature in winter to near-burning when placed in the direct sunlight.
The display range is composed of different sizes to adapt to the different configurations of RATP spaces and assure a good reading comfort. These displays present information in portrait or in landscape. More than 2500 displays with modern appeal and easy maintenance are currently operating brightly in all weather conditions of the Parisian region both, indoor and outdoor. Strongly satisfied with the results, the customer is extending the ongoing project to bus and tram intermodal nodes of the local transport network.
